A Troop has youth ages 11-17 years old that are broken up in smaller groups called Patrols. Each Patrol functions as a family unit that works together to plan Troop meetings, activities and outdoor programs. Troops have youth leadership that meet in Patrol Leaders Council (PLC) to plan and carry out all troop programs.
Adult leaders guide Troops by being present and having meetings every couple months which include parents and form a Troop Committee.
The Troop Committee is headed by the Committee Chair, and includes the following areas/positions:
• Chartered Organization Representative
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Advancement
• Membership
• Outings/Activities
• Quartermaster
• Scoutmaster
