Turlock cub scouts Pack 451 is a volunteer based unit that operates under BSA (within Greater Yosemite Council) to deliver value-based youth program.
Through cub scouting programs, children learn age appropriate life skills, while they enjoy unique opportunities and experiences. Learn more about scouting on our Turlock 451 Scouts home page. Cub scouts is geared for children 5-10 years of age. Children 11 and older join our sister unit Boy Scout Troop 451 or Girl Troop 2451.
Cub scouts are ranked based on grade level. A kindergartner joins a Lion den, 1st grader joins the Tiger den, 2nd grader joins the Wolf den, 3rd grader is Bear, 4th Grader is Webelos, 5th grader is Arrow of Light, which is preparing to advance to Scouts BSA (formerly known as boy scouts).
The cubs meet twice a month with their den (class) and once a month with the pack (the whole unit).
